Exhibition The
exhibition “Biodiversity, Food and
Culture – Discover farm animal diversity” is
going to take place on the Höhematte in Interlaken. The aim of the exhibition is to convey the importance of the conservation
of farm animal diversity. The interrelationship of the diversity of
species, food security, market supply and cultural aspects will be
described and demonstrated. The Exhibition in the tent
On an area
of 2100 m2, visitors
learn about biodiversity, food and culture. Information booths of
the Federal Office for Agriculture, the FAO and other organisations
will provide information and exhibition stands will offer various
animal products (e.g., cheese, other milk products, dried meat) for
tasting and sale. Relevant movies will be shown and a coffee corner
will offer beverages and snacks.
